Together We'll Burn Either Way

Don't Call It Nothing is spending a little time in 1990 this week, so here's a taster. Uncle Tupelo (mostly) acoustic in the basement at Cicero’s in St. Louis. It's May 28, 1990, a few weeks before the release of No Depression. Jay Farrar and Jeff Tweedy are loose, liquid, heavy on the covers, and seem to be having a helluva lot of fun.

Setlist
Graveyard Shift
Sin City [Burritos]
Wasn't Born To Follow [Byrds]
I Wanna Be Your Dog [Stooges]
True To Life (second performance ever)
In The Street [Big Star]
Song To Woody [Dylan]

Many thanks to Brother Shayne Stacy for digitizing this tape from the UT band archive.
